About Lucas Products Corporation
Incorporated in 1957, Lucas Products pioneered
the development of photoprotective eyewear for both outdoor
and indoor use.
First developed for outdoor use, the original
SUNNIES® Eyeshields were without lenses. In 1960, new SUPER
SUNNIES® Eyeshields - with lenses and headband - added vision
to protection and quickly became the leader in photoprotective
eyewear. With the growth of the indoor tanning industry in
the late '70's, SUPER SUNNIES' standard of protection was
used to develop Federal UV ray protection requirements for
all eyeshields and SUPER SUNNIES became the best eyeshields
for both indoors and out in the world!
In 2000, SUPER SUNNIES® iGEAR Eyeshields were
developed specifically for the indoor tanning market. Their
one piece construction and transparent jewel tone colors,
developed from research on the benefits of using color in
mood therapy, made SUPER SUNNIES® iGEAR Eyeshields the new
standard for indoor photoprotective eyewear.
Building on these successes, Lucas Products
has continued to expand its product line to include: LUCASOL™
ONE STEP™ Disinfectant Cleaner And Cleaning Accessories, and
LUCASOL™ Hand™ Instant Hand Sanitizer with Touch-Free Electronic
Dispenser.
