LUCASOL™ Hand™ Instant Hand Sanitizer is unique in that it does not have a heavy alcohol smell and it does not dry the skin. Yet in 15 seconds your hands are 99.9% germ free.

LUCASOL™ Hand™ Instant Hand Sanitizer is not designed to remove dirt from your hands. Although it does a very good job of removing dirt from your hands, it was developed to be used to sanitize your hands not to clean dirt from them.

3. Can I use LUCASOL™ Hand™ Instant Hand Sanitizer anywhere else on my body?

Yes. It is recommended that you avoid cuts, rashes, and your face (eyes, nose, and mouth).

It sets on a table or counter instead of being mounted on the wall. It runs on 4 "AA" Alkaline batteries instead of "D" cells and you may put Lotion, Soap or Sanitizer in the 8 ounce reservoir. This allows you to use it to highlight different lotions each month.

LUCASOL™ Hand™ Table Top Touchless Electronic Dispenser is 15" tall and 6" by 4" around. It is available in White.

We have brought out the non pump 8 ounce LUCASOL™ Hand™ Instant Hand Sanitizer. This is the perfect size to fill the reservoir.

It operates on four alkaline "D" cell batteries (not included). It can be mounted on your wall with the screws or adhesive pads that are included. There is no need to touch anything to sanitize your hands. You merely hold your hand motionless under the dispenser, it senses your hand and measures one milliliter of LUCASOL™ Hand™ Instant Hand Sanitizer into your hand.

We have a 16.6 oz. Pump top container that can be used on a desk top or in the dispenser. It delivers about 500 hand sanitizings per bottle and the LUCASOL™ Hand™ Instant Hand Sanitizer Touchless Electronic Dispenser gives 130,000 hand sanitizings per set of batteries.

1. Can I use LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner for disinfecting eyeshields?

Yes. Because LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner contains a hospital grade disinfectant, it does a great job of disinfecting eyeshields. Dilute 2 ounces of LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner to one gallon and soak the eyeshields in it for 10 minutes. It is also suggested that no matter what product you soak your eyeshields in, you should rinse or soak the eyeshields with fresh, clean water before letting them air dry.

2. What diseases does LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner kill?

LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner kills single cell organisms that cause diseases. The label lists some of the most common ones. It is a hospital grade Virucide, Fungicide, & Bactericide.

3. Is LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner safe to use on tanning bed acrylics?

LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner has been tested by a leading manufacturer of tanning bed acrylics and found to have no adverse effects. It has been used since 1989 and is the leading product in the USA for cleaning tanning beds and booths. Many health department heads have indicated that although they can not recommend any one product. They consider it a plus when their inspectors find LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner being used.

4. Is LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner safe for use on vinyl?

LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner has been used on vinyl for many years with no adverse effects.

5. Can I use any sprayer with LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner?

Yes you can. But, for many reasons, it is better to use the LUCASOL™ Xtra Life™ Sprayers.

A) The bottles are marked with the red LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner to make the clear solution immediately identifiable.
B) The piston in the trigger is extra large to deliver 2X the volume of spray per pump.

6. Why don't you put a color and/or fragrance in LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner?

LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner is fragrance and dye free because fragrances and dyes are not good for acrylics. Dyes and fragrances can cause skin irritation which makes LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner the Clear Choice.

7. Can I use any test strips to test diluted LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner?

It is not recommended. LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner is buffered so that it can be used at a higher concentration without any adverse affects. The preferred concentration for LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner is 700 ppm. Most test strips can not accurately test that high of a concentration. That is why we recommend that you use our LUCASOL™ QuatTest™ Test Kit that is designed to accurately test to that level.

Beside it being the law, not wearing eyeshields that meet the standards in the FDA's 21 CFR 1040.2 can cause irreversible eye damage. UVA rays can even go through closed eyelids and penetrate to the retina where rods and cones can be destroyed. This can lead to color and night blindness (irreversible damage not readily noticible-may take years to realize damage).

According to the law, if a headband is supplied by the manufacturer of the eyeshields, then it must be worn with them. The headband holds the eyeshields snug against the face to protect the eyes.

There are many reasons, but the one most people give is so they know that the SUPER SUNNIES® Eyeshields were not worn by some one else. Once the headband is adjusted you do not need further adjustment.

4) The nosebridge of my eyeshields is too wide (or too narrow). How can I make them fit better?

With SUPER SUNNIES® Eyeshields, you have an adjustable nosebridge. You may push the eyecups closer together to have a narrower, higher bridge or press down on the nose bridge and pull the eyecups apart to have a lower, wider nosebridge. Once adjusted SUPER SUNNIES® Eyeshields hold that position. This is an excellent reason for owning your own pair of SUPER SUNNIES® Eyeshields.

It covers a floor area of 2'x3'. If you place it in a 6'x6' room minimum, it would give the client an adequate space to change in without feeling hemmed in.

2. What can I charge for a session?

This of course would vary based upon
your market. In the day spa industry they charge about $1.00 per minute.

3. How long is a session?

Depending upon the individuals tolerance to heat, a typical session is about 15 to 20 minutes

4. What kind of water hook up is required?

None, there is a reservoir under the seat which holds up to 3 quarts of water. After each session you would replenish what was used by adding approximately 3-4 more cups of distilled water.

5. Is it recommended that you use distilled water?

Yes it helps keep the reservoir from getting a build up of mineral deposits.

6. What about the electrical hook up?

It plugs right into a standard 110 volt wall outlet. Many of the salons indicated that they would hook the wall outlet to their remote timer.

7. Why would any of my customers want to take a steam bath?

A. Steam bathing may be useful in weight reduction for people with water
retention problems.

B. A Steam Bath can be beneficial in helping to relieve muscle aches and
soreness, as well as arthritis pain.

           C. Steam Bathing is known to reduce bacteria and viruses on the and
                 increase the white blood count. This increase in White blood cells has been
                 shown by research to last for a couple of days after the steam session.

D. It is commonly accepted that Steam Bathing helps drain the Lymphatic
System, which can reduce stress on the liver.

E. Use before tanning will increase blood circulation, which may aid in the
tanning process.

F. Increase your heart rate temporarily, which is similar to the effect that
aerobic exercise has on the heart.

           G. The skin is the largest organ in the human body. By some estimates up to
                 30 percent of body wastes are eliminated through the skin via sweating.
                 Because sauna and steam baths stimulate the action of the sweat they
                 enhance the eliminating and detoxifying capacity of the skin.

8. What can the raising of the body temperature do for me?

The rise in temperature of your body (similar to what a fever does) aids in the killing germs, bacteria, and viruses in the body and on the skin.

9. Is there anyone who should not use an individual steam cabinet?

It is not recommended for Pregnant women, small children, the elderly, and people with high blood pressure or heart problems.

10. Are there any other precautions that I would need to take with my
customers?

It is advisable to drink lots of water before and after a steam bath. You would also
want to wait for a while after eating, this allows blood to flow to the stomach to aid digestion.

11. Does the Steam Embrace Steam Cabinet require any special cleaning?

You would spray the inside with LUCASOL™ One Step™ brand Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner and let it sit for one minute, then wipe thoroughly. This will ensure that it is sanitized between each use. The outside of the cabinet can also be cleaned with LUCASOL ™ One Step ™ brand Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner .

12. How long should you let the unit warm up before using?

When starting the unit cold at the beginning of the day, you would want to let it heat up for 20 minutes with the door closed and a towel over the opening. Between customers it would require about 10 minutes to come back up to steam.

13. What do the numbers on the temperature control dial mean?

The temperature controls on the cabinet have settings from 1-10. In a test that Lucas Products Corporation ran on the temperature at each setting, we can tell you that:

The setting at 8 the temperature is about 75-80 degrees F
The setting at 9 is about 80-90 degrees F
The setting at 10 it can range from 120-130 degrees F.

2. How do I mix the LUCASOL™ One Step™Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner to use in the soak jar.

You mix it as you would for cleaning the tanning bed. Dilute 2 ounces of LUCASOL™ One Step™ Deodorizing Disinfectant Cleaner up to one gallon with water in another container and then fill the soak jar to the line near the top.
